CEX - Film Parodies

Puppetry Director - Puppeteer

Working as part of the Scale Model Studios Team for The Berry, we recreated some of our favourite films using only your used tech goodies.

This hilarious CEX campaign was an incredibly fun challenge. Recreating scenes from Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Spider Man and Squid Game, Jen Kidd, of Scale Model Studios, and I turned an all star cast of your used tech into the Hollywood A-List, puppet style. Directed by Luke Robson, of The Berry.

With sets and puppets by Jen and Rigging and Puppetry Direction by myself, we created a authentic puppet feel, using quick and dirty techniques, rods, strings and hot glue.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Jen and SMS over a few projects. SMS, specialising in Stop Motion Animation, is something I’m not familiar with, specalising in Live-Puppetry, but when it comes to creative ideas and quick turn-arounds, it feels like the perfect match.
